How do you know Muze Tubyine?
In my role as Rwanda Programs Manager at the Heritage Management Organization, I have known Muze Tubyine since its earliest stages — when it was still a solid idea before its official establishment. I was present as the concept began to take shape, and throughout its gradual evolution into a fully developed project, I have had the privilege of witnessing not only the growth of the idea itself but also the development of the individuals behind it. They demonstrate a remarkable passion and dedication to what they love. It is one of the projects we actively support in the country, with strong expectations for its continued growth and impact. Muze Tubyine is a group deeply rooted in an appreciation of cultural heritage and the vital role it plays within communities. I particularly value their commitment to community empowerment through the art of dance, both traditional and contemporary.
What makes Muze Tubyine unique?
What truly sets Muze Tubyine apart is its strong focus on the power of community. This central philosophy defines their work and impact. Additionally, the group demonstrates a clear commitment to continuous development. Their active and successful participation in capacity-building programs on heritage management, organized by the Heritage Management Organization, reflects both their dedication and their drive to evolve — not only as dancers but also as heritage professionals.

★★★★★
How do you know Muze Tubyine?
I came to know Muze Tubyine through a program by the Iteka Youth Organization focused on empowering artists to grow sustainable and income-generating careers. During this journey, I had the opportunity to work with them as a business coach, supporting their development beyond performance into structure, strategy, and growth.
What makes Muze Tubyine unique?
Muze Tubyine stands out for its rare combination of talent, discipline, and purpose. They are deeply rooted in contemporary dance, with a clear artistic identity that differentiates them from many traditional groups. What truly makes them unique, however, is their mindset. They are not just performers — they are builders. Over the years, they have shown strong consistency, a deep sense of commitment, and a powerful team bond. Despite balancing personal responsibilities like school and family, they remain focused on their vision and continue to invest in their growth. I have seen firsthand their level of professionalism, resilience, and work ethic. They train with intensity, push through challenges, and continuously strive for excellence. Their ambition to build their own dance center is a reflection of their long-term vision and determination. Muze Tubyine is a group of young, driven individuals who are not only passionate about dance but are intentionally building a future through it — and that is what truly sets them apart.
